Le Tote has two different memberships - The Classic membership for your typical fashion and the Maternity membership for women who are expecting and don't want to purchase clothes they'll only wear while they're pregnant.

Members are able to wear the clothes in their "tote" for as long as they like and ship them back when they're ready for something new (which is free both ways.) You don't even have to wash the clothes you send back!

Once the tote has been received by Le Tote, members are able to select the items they'd like to receive next using the Tote Swap feature on the Le Tote website member portal.

Le Tote's referral program allows you and your friends to save money by subscribing to Le Tote.

By clicking either the "Send a Free Tote" or "Email a Free Tote" links at the top of the account page, you're are able to sign friends up for a free tote.

Once the recipient creates an account, she is then able to choose her favorite items to fill a 3 clothing, 2 accessory tote that she can wear for up to 14 days.

If the recipient of the referral doesn't like Le Tote as much as she thought she would, she must cancel before the 14 day deadline to avoid being charged.

Unfortunately for you, if this happens, you won't receive the $25 referral credit to your account. That $25 isn't applied to your account until your recipient pays for her second subscription payment.

But of course, Le Tote is a great service, so why wouldn't she want to remain subscribed?

3. The Number of Plans

Le Tote has a crazy number of subscription options that fit nearly any budget.

With maternity options or just regular clothes, and the choice to opt out of the jewelry plans, Le Tote's customizable totes are even more customizable.

Plus, you can receive as little as 5 items per month or up to 15 items per month, all depending on how many new styles you want to try.

With the lowest plan starting at $69 for 5 items, you really can't go wrong... But the real savings start when you spend just $10 more and get twice as many items per month!

4. Refunds Are Ridiculously Simple

Sometimes you might forget to send an item back to Le Tote... Everyone forgets things sometimes!

If this happens, Le Tote will assume you want to keep the item and your on-file card will be charged... But don't worry!

Because you have 30 days to realize your mistake and send the accidentally-purchased item back to Le Tote for a purchase credit which can be applied to the purchase of a future item that you'll inevitably fall in love with.

If you only have a 1-tote plan however, you'll have to pay for shipping on the returned item since you won't receive your next tote until the following month (and you'll want to wear it for a while, right?)

Shipping won't cost you too much when your package only weighs a couple of pounds though, so don't let the cost worry you too much!

2 Things Not To Love about Le Tote

There are some minor drawbacks to Le Tote, but for the most part, they only apply to a small number of potential subscribers.

1. The 2-Tote Option Has Some Flaws

Unfortunately, the 2-tote option only allows you to have 1 tote at a time.

The idea is that you have one tote for half of the month, and your next tote for the other half.

In our opinion, it would be more convenient for subscribers to have the ability to have both totes for the entire month to allow for more customizations and chances to combine different pieces.

2. Some Sizes Aren't Always Available

Since Le Tote is a clothing rental service, you're essentially sharing the clothes you get with other members (but don't worry... They're sterilized and cleaned!)

And unfortunately that means sometimes a piece of clothing you've been eyeballing won't be available in your size and you'll have to wait a month or two to try it out.

Luckily, Le Tote has a sprawling catalog of clothing to choose from so you'll never be left naked.
