What is BarkBox?

Like we said above, it is a subscription box service for dogs that gets delivered to your door every month for a reasonable fee of $21 per month (that’s the cheapest option when you pay for a 12-month subscription.)

Started by three entrepreneurs who struggled to find the very best toys in New York City for their dogs, BARK (the company who runs Bark Box) has been in business since 2012 and they’ve shipped hundreds of box since.

The items in the boxes are always themed, and always contain at least 2 toys, 2 bags of treats, and 1 chew.

Many of the items are designed by BARK and some are sourced from the US, Canada, South America, New Zealand, and Australia. They ALWAYS ship treats that are soy, wheat, corn, and filler free and – when possible – organic.

All of the items shipped in the box are tested in-house by some truly good boys (I’m talking dogs. They’re tested by dogs.)

According to their website, they also donates 10% of all sales to help pets in need.

In addition, it has gift subscription options and shipping is always free (regardless if it’s a gift or if it’s for you) as long as you live in the US or Canada.

BarkBox Review

Here’s a quick breakdown of the pros and cons of the subscription box. For the most part, the good greatly outweighs the bad, but some customers have reported a few minor issues with refunds (which aren’t allowed once you pay) and item sturdiness.

But don’t let that scare you off. There’s plenty of reasons to buy..
